SLCN.pro striving to be ANZ Champions

SLCN.pro Heroes of the Storm ANZ Championship

Tomorrow brings the finals of the Australia and New Zealand Heroes of the Storm Championship. Eight teams will be competing for a share of the USD$25,000 prize pool, bragging rights and a paid for trip to compete in the America championship where a spot at the Blizzcon World Championships is on the line.

Silicon Sports has its very own Heroes team competing for the glory, they go in as favourites alongside Exile 5. The former favourites, Team Immunity had internal issues which forced them to split into Team Immunity White and Black which raises serious question marks about how they will perform without as much practice.

2015 ANZ Heroes Championship

The experienced Uproar will be looking to upset the consistent Exile 5 in round one, whilst Salty Dogz have proven they can beat Silicon Sports (albeit with a substitute) they will want to prove it is no fluke.

Having qualified in the 2nd round, the recently split Team Immunity Black and White will face Basilisk and TDS, who remain unknown quantities but surely with so much on the line they may be able to prove they are the strongest in Australia and New Zealand.

The games will begin at 11am AEST on Saturday the 1st of August. All teams will have two lives in this double elimination best of 3 finals, with the top team earning USD$10,000 and a trip to America!

Make sure you tune in and get the SLCN chant going in chat!
